KidoPulse Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using KidoPulse, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to the KidoPulse mobile application for iOS and Android, and to its use by a parent or guardian on behalf of a child.

KidoPulse lets a parent or guardian create a profile for each child, build reusable activity templates, and attach multi-stage alarms to them — a reminder the night before, a cue to leave, a check for arrival. Activities can be scheduled once or on a recurring basis, and alarms are delivered as real system alarms and notifications on the device. All of this runs on your phone; KidoPulse provides no account system and no server-side storage of your data.

KidoPulse is intended to be operated by an adult parent or guardian to help organize a child's schedule. It is not intended for a child to set up or manage unsupervised, and the parent or guardian using the app is responsible for the accuracy of the profiles, activities, and alarms they create.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for safeguarding the device it is stored on. Because your data never reaches our servers, we cannot recover it for you or restore it after a device is lost, damaged, or reset. If your children's schedules matter to you, export a backup and keep it somewhere safe.

KidoPulse's alarms are a scheduling and reminder tool, not a safety, supervision, or guardianship product. An alarm can fail to fire or to wake you for reasons outside the app's control — a phone with a dead battery, an operating-system restriction, a permission that was revoked, or a device that is powered off. You remain solely responsible for your child's activities, attendance, transportation, and safety; do not rely on KidoPulse as the sole safeguard for anything time-critical.

A free device holds one child profile and one scheduled activity at a time; activity templates — the reusable routines an alarm chain is built from — are never limited, on any plan. Premium removes both caps, unlocking additional child profiles and additional activities scheduled at once, along with any Premium feature added in the future.

• Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription.
• Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are managed by those platforms; the price shown at purchase applies.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage, cancel, or see the renewal price for your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Restoring a previous purchase is available from within the app.

Because your data is stored locally, keeping backups is your responsibility. KidoPulse provides a JSON export and import, but we are not responsible for data lost through device failure, deletion, or uninstalling the app.

The KidoPulse app, its design, and its software are owned by TrackIt and protected by copyright. These terms do not give you the right to copy, modify, or distribute the app, except as the app stores' standard licence terms allow. What you record in the app about your child and their activities stays yours.

KidoPulse relies on third-party services, including Adapty for purchases, Amplitude for anonymous analytics, and Expo for app infrastructure and updates. Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their respective terms.

KidoPulse is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your agreement is with TrackIt, not with Apple or Google; they are not responsible for the app, and support questions should come to trackit.tr@gmail.com. Where you obtained KidoPulse from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them; where you obtained KidoPulse from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

KidoPulse is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app, its alarms, or its notifications will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that an alarm will always fire or wake you as scheduled.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for any loss of data, or for any missed activity, lateness, or other outcome resulting from an alarm that did not fire, was dismissed, or was not heard, arising from your use of or inability to use KidoPulse.

We may modify or discontinue features of KidoPulse and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
