# Activity Alarm Planner Template

> Plan the stages before you set any alarms. The stage that gets missed is
> rarely "start the activity" — it's "pack the bag last night" or "leave the
> house on time".

## Activity

- **Name:** ______________________
- **Child:** ______________________
- **Day / repeats:** ______________________
- **Start time:** ______________________
- **Location:** ______________________

## Alarm Stages

| # | Stage | Fires at | Priority | Notes |
|---|-------|----------|----------|-------|
| 1 | | | Normal / Urgent / Critical | |
| 2 | | | Normal / Urgent / Critical | |
| 3 | | | Normal / Urgent / Critical | |

- "Fires at" is either a fixed clock time the day before ("20:30 the night
before") or an offset before the start time ("45 minutes before").
- Mark a stage **Critical** only if missing it means missing the activity
entirely — everything else should be Normal or Urgent.

## Example — Swimming Lesson

| # | Stage | Fires at | Priority |
|---|-------|----------|----------|
| 1 | Pack swim bag & goggles | 21:00 the night before | Normal |
| 2 | Leave the house | 45 min before start | Urgent |

Two stages, one packing checklist, done — most activities don't need more
than that to stop being a source of last-minute scrambling.
